PADI Freediver eLearning is the independent study material for the PADI Basic Freediver and PADI Freediver courses. Student divers conveniently learn the basic principles of breathhold diving along with freediving techniques using their laptop/desktop computers or mobile devices.
The best experience is to study online, however, if candidates find themselves without internet for periods (such as when commuting or traveling) or have inconsistent, poor internet services, they can download content to study offline via the PADI Training app.
The PADI Training app is available for Apple® iOS devices and Android™ devices. It’s best if devices are no more than three generations old. Content can be downloaded in sections for download convenience with a total file size of approximately 337 MB.
Divers beginning at the PADI Basic Freediver level benefit from being able to use PADI Freediver eLearning as a review when they go on to the PADI Freediver course. The material covers the freediving physics and physiology, freediving equipment and skills including how to perform static and dynamic apnea, free immersion and constant weight freediving.
PADI Freediver eLearning includes:
- Dynamic, interactive content for the PADI Basic Freediver and Freediver courses
- Integrated Freediver Video
All assessments (Exercise Questions, Knowledge Review and Exam)
