PADI Tec 45 Diver eLearning is a convenient way for student divers to complete the independent study portion of their Tec 45 Diver or Tec 45 Trimix Diver course from a laptop/desktop computer or mobile device.
The best experience is to study online, however, if students find themselves without internet for periods (such as when commuting or traveling) or have inconsistent, poor internet services, they can download content to study offline via the PADI Training app.
The PADI Training app is available for Apple® iOS devices and Android™ devices. It’s best if devices are no more than three generations old. Content can be downloaded in sections for download convenience with a total file size of approximately 156 MB.
PADI Tec 45 Diver eLearning provides the knowledge divers need to expand their technical diving to using a full technical diving kit, including double cylinders, sidemount or back mount, plus a deco cylinder. Divers add to their knowledge regarding risks, equipment, skills, techniques, dive planning and emergency procedures to complete decompression dives.
PADI Tec 45 Diver eLearning is also used for the Tec 45 Trimix Diver course. An additional trimix section, Knowledge Review and Exam provide the background knowledge divers need to train using trimix during the course.
PADI Tec 45 Diver eLearning includes all of the required study materials for the Tec 45 Diver and Tec 45 Trimix Diver courses including:
- Seven required and one optional independent study sections
- Introduction to Trimix section for the Tec 45 Trimix Diver course
- All assessments (Exercise Questions, Knowledge Reviews, Exams and eRecord)
- Tec Dive Planning sheet, Tec Diver Predive Checklist and TecRec Emergency Procedures sheet (pdfs)
